What do you keep on your balcony? Some keep plants. Some hang their clothes. Some fix satellite dishes to watch cable tv. Some fix their aircon there. Some even hang bird cages. Balcony became a thing of many usage. Not for a good view or some fresh air anymore.

Yes, I agree, before we had a satellite dish there, now theres a grapevine, a bench, 2 bicycles for the kids and one mountainbike, and a sack of soil...I hang the clothes in the morning too! We have the last balcony so imagine how it is when those living from the 10th to the 16th floor throws their cigarette down =(

What a lot of balconies! I'm not surprised they are used for other things. Sitting and taking in fresh air would not be very private!
Well, I don't have a balcony. If I did though, it would probably have a barbecue, a couple of comfy chairs and maybe a potted plant.

If I have a balcony, I would turn it into a cozy corner, with a small water feature, lotsa beautiful plants and beautiful rattan chairs where my friends and I can enjoy a cuppa coffee together.
