'Cliff' Hanger

This is a condominium under construction. I had cold feet seeing the guy balancing himself between the 2 planks. There are many construction projects going on in PJ - mostly for condominiums. Foreign workers make up almost 100% of the workforce for these projects.

What's the accident/fatality rate among these workers? It's got to be a high-risk job. Despite worryog about his balance, I really like the angle of the photo.

Thanks Kate for the comment.
I am not sure on the fatality rate, however now and then there are reports on accidents at construction site, sadly most of the time fatal.
It's a high risk job with low pay, but guess it's still higher than the jobs in their homeland.

I enlarged the photo and am looking at this worker as I type this... I can't believe he's not fitted with appropriate safety gear, not even a helmet! The things "developers" get away with...

Nice photo. :)

Brrrr... Amazing picture! I work in New York City - there are several high-rise buildings under construction in the area. Like you, I am fascinated by people working at those hights. I am trying to figure out how much money I should be offered to get up there. I cannot come with the number that would convince me.

hi alaya, fenix, shanti, eliane, the plight of foreign workers especially those in construction sites are quite sad if you ask me.
