Chips Chips Chips

This uncle was selling chips at the LRT station. The packet which he is tying is filled with 'muruku' a local favourite, especially during Deepavali. It's made from strips of flour fried in oil. Can be a little spicy.
The other chips are made from potatoes and peas. All nice and crunchy. These are more cost effective and tasty snacks compared to those we find in supermarket.
P/S : Thanks Fenix for spotting the typo :P

Now you've made me hungry! They look so interesting. I wish we had snack stands like those here.

PS: Your comments, original or otherwise, will always be very much appreciated on my blog. :)

PS2: Are you sure you didn't mean to type "flour"? ;D

What a great description of the "chips" that are offered. Fried potatoes and peas sound excellent.
